Angela Thomas was wonderful in person- she's so solid and offers wonderful insight, doesn't she?
I love the story about your son- I will admit I am a little intimidated since our kids are in the same class. I'm sure he and Skip did 'make some magic'! He is quite a witty child, he comes up with things that surprise me!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28207920.post-1161130669405332612006-10-17T19:17:00.000-05:002006-10-17T19:17:00.000-05:00I"ve learned alot with the bible study that we are...I"ve learned alot with the bible study that we are doing and the Robin Mcgraw book. When you tie in those two book together, it makes sence that we have a choice. That is such a powerful word-- CHOICE!! I know that God will bless your sell of your house and I know he has the perfect plan and house already in place. The Glow Girlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15843640333623848551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28207920.post-1161113478820553982006-10-17T14:31:00.000-05:002006-10-17T14:31:00.000-05:00The books your reading sound good. I like books that are real to me that have a meaning. Good luck with putting your house on the market. God will get you through selling your home. We have been there and done that. We are not quite ready to buy a home here yet. Maybe next year.
JaniceJanicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06737865243737214361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28207920.post-1161112560329654672006-10-17T14:16:00.000-05:002006-10-17T14:16:00.000-05:00Why did I not realize before that you have a 9 yea...Why did I not realize before that you have a 9 year old son? Mine is 10 so I can totally relate! (Guess I'm a bit slow. :-) )

Thanks for the heads up on the books. I am also up for a good read (if I can just find the time... now that's another story).

Keep us posted on the house situation so we will know how to pray!Donnettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11692862365425939349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28207920.post-1161102470103988672006-10-17T11:27:00.000-05:002006-10-17T11:27:00.000-05:00The Bible Study sounds wonderful. I love the way the Lord puts into our lives exactly what we need at just the right moment.
There seem to be lots of trying to sell these days. I'll pray for you, and you pray for us!!
I love little boys. Of course I love little girls too, but there is just something so special about the way they are just exactly who they are. What you see is what you get, and they are so adorable - especially at that age. I remember wishing I could freeze my boys at about that age. I just didn't want anything to change. sigh.... But they are both wonderful young men now, and I love them dearly.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14937532276250199445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28207920.post-1161095499685391402006-10-17T09:31:00.000-05:002006-10-17T09:31:00.000-05:00Your the opposite of me. I need to find the balance in the other direction. I've a couple of my fall reading challenge list.

I saw Angela Thomas speak at The Women of Faith Conference in Calgary this summer. I'm especially interested in what Robin McGraw has to say, so I'll need to go find that one!

Your boy sounds like quite the little comic.

Keep praying about your house. The Lord sold our house once when EVERY house in the neighborhood had been on the market for over 6 months. It was a bad time to sell, but GOD intervened, and we received 2 offers on the 12th day that our house was on the market. It was a real testimony to our neighbors.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17898848282799974114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28207920.post-1161093522047647722006-10-17T08:58:00.000-05:002006-10-17T08:58:00.000-05:00I'm right in the middle of Robin McGraw's book. She's such an amazing lady, I knew it would be a great book and it is.

And I just finished the complete Mark of the Lion trilogy by Francine Rivers. Voice in the Wind, the first one and the one you're reading, was a little difficult for me to get into but mostly because the cruelty of the Romans was a shock for me and hard to read. I'm so glad I read this trilogy - it comnpletely changed the way I talk to God on a daily basis now.

Yep. Your little boy sounds like a chip off his daddy's block. Let's make some magic.
