Praise God, That Was Quick!!!

My friend Annie just called me back. Unbelievably, she just got a call from CPS and they've decided to keep the kids with her for now. They had been planning to take them away since last week, and when they called her this morning they were waiting on one more signature. They changed their mind, and gave her a call just a bit ago. Wow, how is that for the power of prayer. She is just praising God like crazy and so am I. Thank you for any of you who said a quick prayer. I am continuing to pray for Annie and her husband to adopt these babies so they won't have to ever go through this again. Be blessed everyone!

If any of you want an extra special blessing today, then you must go by Julie's to hear a beautiful devotional she wrote called called "Alright, Who Took the Remote?" which is part of her new Meaningful Monday Post. I loved it!

Oh, Susie, I did not see that until now. But I'll pray that children will continue to be with her and they won't change their minds again until your friend can adopt them.

Yeah, I just popped over to see if you posted anything new. I'm not sure why I did that . I just posted a prayer chain on my blog as well. Praise God. Those babies belong to Annie, and I know God will continue to bless that!!

In my opinion, this is one of the worst problems we have in this country. Good Christian families taking care of foster children, loving them, and providing a good stable environment just to have Social Services come and relocate them. While other foster children are in deplorable conditions and social services can't keep up with the demanding workload and the child is overlooked and neglected or abused! My goodness, praising God and praying for continued blessings that allow these wonderful children to stay put.

Our society really needs to remedy this problem this and the problems with adoption.

What an amazing answer to prayer. If I didn't think I'd hurt something I'd be jumping up and down - I am in my spirit. I'll continue to pray for Annie and her family. Thank You Lord!!!!

Oh my goodness, I checked in on you this morning and I'm back a few hours later to find a prayer request AND an answer! Thank GOD that the Lord divinely intervened.

I prayed for your friend, Annie, specifically that "the Lord would cause the thoughts of those in authority in this situation to become agreeable to HIS will". I honestly expect to hear another good report!

Oh ~ and THANK YOU for mentioning the MM...you're so sweet!

What wonderful news! I'm so glad to hear that Annie is able to keep the children for longer.

My husband has expressed an interest in the State's foster-to-adopt program but I must admit I'm afraid of the heartache that it could cause us. I'm dragging my feet a bit on this one.

Annie and the kids are in our prayers! This has been such a bittersweet battle for her. I loved the devotional written by your friend Julie. Does she want to write one for Marked Writers?

I'm so glad they changed their minds. I don't know how they could stand to lose those children. I hope they succeed in adopting them so they never have to go through this kind of pain and worry again.
