To My Prayer Warrior Friends

Words are not there right now, but I feel I must let my prayer warrior friends know right away that Amber, my friend Debbie's daughter, has passed away. She left this world into the father's hands at 2:00pm today. I cannot imagine how her mother and father feel, her brothers, and especially Amber's husband.

This scripture was sent to me via the email with the news.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints" Psalm 116:15

Amber was a Christian, Amber knew Christ intimately, and had even started leading the bible study "Believing God" before she was diagnosed with advanced leukemia.

Please pray for comfort for her family and friends. I did not know her personally, but I was in a bible study years ago with her mother. I remember when Debbie was praising God for Amber's new relationship with Christ and her desire to know Him more. She not only knows him well, she is now in His very presence.

I'm so sorry. What a beautiful scripture to accompany the news. We had a young woman in our church die recently of cancer who the entire church was praying for. It is so sad and one of those things we will not understand until then!!!!!!!

Susie, I wish I knew something eloquent and comforting to say. I'm just so sorry for your loss and especially for your friend. As a mother, I can only imagine her hurt. I pray she will be well comforted by her friends and family and God's beautiful Word. How bittersweet to know that Amber will be greatly missed, but has a testimony to ensure she is in the arms of Jesus.

My heart breaks for this family. I heard a sweet story today of how Amber's Bible study group gathered around her at the hospital, wanting their teacher to come home. Amber must have been very special. Her family is in my prayers.

I am so sorry, yet I am so glad she decided to give her life to Jesus.
