The Fiesta shower was so much fun. Beautiful Kara on the left, me in the middle, and Captivating Michelle(bride-to-be) on the right sat for a minute to pose before cleaning up. Michelle and Bart(not pictured) are the sweetest couple, and I pray they have a wonderful marriage. The best part of the shower to me was when everyone took turns to give their Godly advice for a successful marriage. It was so refreshing to my own ears to hear the sweet words of encouragement poured out on this loving couple. My other favorite part of the shower was the food, of course. MEXICAN!!! If anyone wants to add any marriage advice that has been beneficial to you and your spouse, comment on.

Oops! I just realized I hadn't left my own piece of advice. Besides the obvious of putting God first, I know that in my marriage I have learned that men like to be respected and affirmed. In return they love and serve. I have also found that Christian marriage books are great for advice before there is ever a problem. My favorites are The Five Love Languages, The Power of a Praying Wife/Husband, and a new one Love & Respect. We also try to pray together every night before we go to sleep.
