I have been in a very reflective mood this afternoon. I am first of all in disbelief that my baby is graduating from Kindergarten tomorrow and two days later my niece will be graduating from high school. My sister and I are very close and talk daily. I really haven't even thought to ask her how she must be feeling about her daughter's graduation. I am sad about Annie's milestone and she still has many more years under my guidance. I can only imagine the tears that will fall when she puts on a cap and gown in 12 years. My prayer is that Skip and I give her the best possible example of Christ that we can. I want her to know what a godly home looks and feels like. I want her to see the power in prayer, the faith that comes through obedience and the love that only God can comfort her with. Now, a note for my sister. You have done such an amazing job with Stephanie. She is beautiful inside and out. I love her personality and her love for family and friends. You also taught her about Jesus and that is what is most important. Well done my sister, my friend.

Susie, it is hard to believe Annie is already graduating from Kindergarten. I know how proud you are of her and all your children! I love what you said about the example you want to give her and the things you want to teach her for a godly life. Reading that reminded me of something Beth Moore wrote in her Patriarchs study, " Let us pursue becoming what we hope our descendents will be". Your love and passion for God will definitely bless your children! Hold on to Prov. 20:7 " The righteous man (woman) leads a blameless life (having spiritual & moral integrity); blessed are his (her) children after him (her)" and Psalm 112: 1-2 "Blessed is the man (woman) who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands. His (Her) children will be mighty in the land." You are doing a great job!! Liana
Thanks Liana! Spoken like the true mentor you are to me. Now, when are you going to start your blog? That would be something to read!
