Cute and Cheap

Another completely shallow post is about to happen. Are you ready? I wore my first pair of open-toed sandals today because it is basically summer here in Corpus. I love these shoes for two reasons. One, they make me look tall. Two, they were $4.98 at Target. I received several compliments on them at bible study this morning, despite my funky toes. Do you have funky toes, too? My second toe is longer than the first and I thought that was normal. I am suddenly feeling toe envy since only one other girl in our group had the same design by God. I am trying to meditate on Psalm 139:14 "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." I hope you all know I am just being silly. This brings up a completely non important question: Do you like your toes? Your feet? I am just trying to stay joyful while waiting to hear some news from the Doc about Seth. Feel free to comment.

Cute shoes! I'm so glad we both inherited those toes! Maybe Billy did too. Nice pedicure! Matt has a commercial audition for Burger King today. He has to play a troublemaker. What a stretch! LOL

I'm praying for Seth and I'm praying that God will calm your nerves as well!

I love you sis,
Debbie

Praying for Seth. Please let us know when those results come in. I can totally empathize as I sat and waited all day by the phone for my own results today.

Darling shoes! Love the pink nails!! That was the one thing I loved about living in South Georgia was wearing sandals almost year round. You got a marvelous deal on your sandals, Susie!

Love the shoes! I have no problem with my second toe being bigger than my first. In fact, I thought that is the way everyones toes were designed. hehe!

My hubby's family has pointed out articles to me that we are gradually losing our little toe nails. Very interesting stuff! :)

Wait, hold the phone! It's practically summer there??? How nice!

Cute sandals! And you be proud of that second toe. My grandma always used to say it was a sign of beauty and intelligence. And of course I believed her since I have the same design. :-)

Love the shoes. And we must be twins. My second toe is longer too! I'm having sandal envy. I had to dig out my boots today for the huge dump of snow in freezing weather. Brrr!

Cute feet, Susie! I love your pink toes and those sandals are just CUTE. What a deal. Krissy got a $150 pair of leather ankle boots a couple of days ago. I think she said she paid $50 for them.

I've always thought it's perfectly normal for your second toe to be longer than your big toe. Mine are. But, Girl, you do NOT want to see my feet. Awful. A family joke, my feet. Seriously.

By the way, I received your Granola Bar devotional in the mail yesterday. I can't wait to dive into it, hopefully while Cameron naps today. Thank you so much for sending it. My goodness, putting that together was a project and a half! What a great job Skip did on the cover design.

I can't believe you can already wear sandals. If we wore sandals here, our toes would turn black and fall off! LOL

(The last three word verification letters I'm seeing are OCD - too funny. :-)

Like your shoes, Susie. Your daughter's birthday party looked like such fun, and that cake was so pretty.

I hope and pray Seth's results come back fine. I am sure you are anxious to get the results.

Susie,
Love, Love, Love, your shoes! I love Target! I am a shoe person. I actually like my feet and I love wearing sandals.

A long second toe is not abnormal. I'm not abnormal. But then I've spent more time worrying about hair on my legs than my toes ... which everyone will tell you ... is nothing compared to the amount of time i spend reading.

Just dropping by to say hi.
