Bloggity Book Club

I'm joining Robin and Boomama for the Bloggity Book Club. This is the first book review they have done and they picked an excellent book. We read Beth Moore's "Get Out of the Pit." I thought it was an amazing book full of truth and help for those of us who are struggling "in a pit". I loved the practicality and the scripture filled steps to finding freedom out of our pits. It ultimately came down to relying on God to heal and help us onto solid ground, as only He can do. I would strongly recommend this book, in fact, I've already loaned my book out on Thursday. If you want to hear some great reviews stop by Robin's post to learn more.

Okay you sold me, I have to go get the book. I've been meaning to go get it, but did not want to be overwhelmed with all of Beth Moore. She is so passion when I hear her , I just want to burst out and say " I belive", I believe.
I will check into getting the book this weekend.

Hey! Thanks for the warm welcome! I really thought this book was great. At first I kept thinking, I haven't had anything really bad happen to me, so I must not be in a pit. Boy was I wrong! Great book. Love your blog! I'll be back!

I think Mary C has it right. I think many of us have lives that seem non-pittish. We have good marraiges, happy children, no major trauma etc. But as I was reading her book I just kept realizing how much work God had to do with me in spite of all the good stuff he's blessed me with.

BTW--Terry's blog is back!

Have a great weekend...

I didn't even know there WAS a bloggity book club. See how out of the loop I still am? Sigh.

I DID see Beth's new book at the Christian book store the other day, and it looked promising.

Thanks for the good tip!

We have two more weeks of the Patriarch study, and its been fabulous. I'm hoping to put this book on my summer reading list. Beth's stuff is always good.

It been great reading what everyone has to share about this book. I am hoping my group wants to do Daniel next. We are finishing up Breaking Free next week. I have a feeling they will want to wait until fall to begin! Oh well.
