Wouldn't You Know It!

Today was the first time in six months of my house being on the market that I actually didn't make my bed and I left clutter and laundry out. I drove to Victoria to pick up Skip and bring him back here(I had his truck this week). Wouldn't you know it, I was an hour and a half out of Corpus and I get a call that they were going to show my house in 1o minutes. I could do nothing but pray that they would overlook the mess. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. I haven't heard anything, but God whispered to me today. He said, "Susie, you can do everything in your power to sell that house, but it is Me and Me alone that will make it happen." I immediately felt calm and peaceful about the whole thing. It has been quite a while since a showing, and today we had two calls. Praise God! Maybe it will happen soon. Thank you for continuing to pray with me.

Susie, I have heard more than one person say the day their house was a complete mess was the day it sold. Perhaps it is that "lived-in" look that does the trick.
Seriously, you are absolutley right. I'm going to follow your example. It is totally in God's hands. I sometimes feel we will never sell our place, but I don't want to get discouraged. I'm praying you sell very soon now.

Sunny and I have been to two separate hometeam gatherings in the last 6 days and both groups prayed for the sale of your house.

I love the little things in life that make us realize that we are not in control, and that he is.

I pray you find peace during this time of seperation from your hubby, and that your house sells quickly and to the perfect people that God has picked out.

Blessings,
Trella

:v) Maybe you should have left it a bit messy right from the start and the calls would have come in. :vD

Seriously though, God is good and His timing is perfect.

A friend of mine is selling her house, too, and the same type of thing always seems to happen. That whisper you heard is your lifeline to sanity during this process!! LOL!! Well, I believe it's not going to BE a long process...but you get what I'm saying (I hope). =o) I can't wait until we can celebrate the sale of your house with you!!
