My Sis Is Too Cool!

My sister that lives in LA called me tonight to rub something in my face. You see I am a huge House fan, and my sister was an extra on their set today. She sent me the following text about 7:30 pm her time, "Hugh Laurie bumped into me and said excuse me!" To which I lovingly replied, "You dog!" Seriously, I am so excited for her to get to do fun stuff like that every once in a while. Since I basically watch no tv except House, AI and whatever is on Disney Channel, I was so physched to hear she did this little job especially for me and my little obsession with this medical show. Well, I think it was pretty cool for her too!

Did you guys watch the Cowboys tonight? They are looking good! It is so funny that my whole family is sitting at the dinner table watching the game, eating fried trout(Skip makes the best), and all wearing our Cowboys shirts and jerseys. Why? I have no idea. That's our family for ya!

I'm with ya, Susie! I love House...& Hugh Laurie! Such an acerbically smart show, with a terrific actor who does an amazing job at disguising his sexy British accent. Okay...rant complete! :)

Yeah, I watched your Cowboys. I was rooting for the Colts, though! I gave up about the 3rd qtr, so if the Colts came back, I don't know it yet!

Your hubs cracks me up! I love House too. Smart b*tt that he is. Did she get you a pic or autograph? And when he said Excuse me, was it in the American accent or his native??

Inquiring minds want to know...

That is so cool!! I have no idea what "House" is about. I know that Jeff watches it. Though if she runs into Mc Dreamy, let me know.
You guys are a hoot wearing your dallas gear. It sounds like you guys are having a ball.

What fun for your sister!!!
I am trying to get my Cowboy enthusiasm back again. I was a huge fan for years, but recently not so much. I'm really having a hard time with T.O. Just not Cowboy material as far as I'm concerned.
I will - however - be cheering for the boys!

I just saw your hubby's comment. How cute are ya'll? I have never seen the show, but considering my near miss with the Bourne premiere, I can totally understand your sister's excitement! WINK How fun for her! I am actually kinda excited for football season this year too, (though college; not pro) for the same reasons - family comraderie...you painted such a warm picture.

Wow! That is so neat that she got to be on the show. You know how I *love* Hugh, so I'm very glad to hear that he has nice manners. :)

Family bonding . . . I love it! Isn't it so cool that you can see a totally fun world through your sisiter's eyes. How is your nephew? I know he had a few shows he was going to be in this fall. Wasn't Office one of them?

That's too cool! I don't watch House, just never started because there for a while I was already watching too much TV, now I am really trying not to watch at all, and I was too busy to catch the game, but those are my 2 fav teams. Sounds like a great time you had.
