Not Another House Post!

Oh yes, I am going to do another house post. I actually haven't written one since here, so I felt enough time has past. Besides, I would love your prayers. Here's the deal, we want to move quickly and there is a only a few in the price range and school district we want for Ashley. We found a precious 4 bedroom house, put in an offer and were on our way. It was a brand new house, so we thought everything would run pretty smooth. Boy, were we wrong. It basically failed every inspection from the plumbing to the electrical. It needs a lot of work and like I said, "It is brand new!" Unbelievable! Anyway, Skip looked at another great house today and it is one year old and seems like a good deal. It also has a covered patio which I've always wanted. I would love for things to fall into place, but if they don't, I have learned over the last year that God definitely knows best, and I better trust that he will show the way. Whatever we find, we would love for it to be a nice house for rental property since we may be moving back to our other home when our renter's lease is up in January.

On a side note, I just picked up Lisa Terkeurst's "What Happens When Women Say Yes to God" and I absolutely love it so far. I kind of want to wait and do it as a bible study, but I don't think I'll be able to put it down for long.

If you need to move soon and can't find a place...and would like to work the whole house shopping scene while living back in Corpus, have skip stop and see my place downtown by the bay at Santa Fe/shoreline. Monica C lives downstairs. Girls could live downstairs in their own spot, Seth gets a room next to you upstairs. I'd need to know soon though as I've put ads on them. It's not exactly CLOSE to FB, but it's super close compared to Victoria. No more protracted commuting seasons like last year. No, no no.

Oh Susie, I am in total sympathy. We are still in limbo here - packed boxes and no buyer. We are just longing to get out of here and build a new home. So I will definitely pray for you. I know God has this all worked out. If only we could see beyond the next turn in the path. We must just trust that all will be well.

It's going to work out just fine, I just know it.

Thanks for the heads up on the good book!

Just to let you know, I went through another round of trying to email you (even by replying to yours) & it kept getting returned. So I will just comment here, so you don't think I am ignoring you! :0)
