Let's face it, all of us have junk in our lives. We all have personal struggles. Lately, I have been a bit overwhelmed by feeling responsible for the problems and struggles of family and friends. God is so comforting to me and reminding me that it is not my job or my responsibility to make things right, but it is my honor and privilege to pray for them. I can't change a person's mind, I can't give someone what they've been asking for and I certainly can't take away the pain they are experiencing. Many times I can't even share God's Word if they aren't willing to listen. But...I can pray and pray hard!
Thank you God for the ability to pray for others, and that you hear each and every request I humbly bring to you. I love you Lord!
Romans 8:26 "Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. "

You have encouraged my heart. The comfort of knowing He is willing and able is powerful.
My husband says the same thing to me. I become to emotionally involved in everyone's problems. Praise God I have a steady husband. =)
Thank you for your kind words on my TT post my first thought was "she must have thought this was a different blog." Awful I know, but your words touched my heart on a week that has been challenging! Thank you.
Amen! This is my verse for the year. I have been working on praying bold prayers and prayers of faith. Now I'm moving into being watchful and thankful. It's awesome! Very encouraging post! Happy Thankful Thursday!
I was just studying in Ezekial today. We are called to witness to ALL men what they do with it is between them and God and we are not responsible for their response, but very responsible to tell.
Ezekiel 3:18 "unto the wicked" his blood will be required of our hand if we don't tell him
Ezekiel 3:19 "warn the wicked" he shall die if they don't heed but our soul is delivered
Ezekiel 3:20 "righteous man" we will be held accountable on not speaking to the righteous who is straying
Ezekiel 3:21 "warn the righteous man" and we will not be held accountable.
This was so fresh on my mind I wanted to share it!!!

Beautiful and very encouraging. I have to stop myself many times and be reminded that I can't solve all the problems but He can.
Happy TT!
Love the post! It's hard to weep for those we love without allowing their heartache to usurp our joy in Christ! I think you've found a very good balance!
Amen, we should all pray without ceasing.
What a sweet post. I often carry the burden of my parents and I always have to lay them down again.
I am grateful for the power of prayer!
Bless you & happy TT!
Beth
