Family Flicks

My kids really crack me up sometimes. Whatever movie we happen to see, the kids have to then dress up and act it out. For instance, last night we rented "The Greatest Game Ever Played" and they had to get out Skip's putters and putt in the living room. Last week they were dressed as pirates after watching "Pirates of the Caribbean". I know its PG-13 but my kids loved the first one. Annie didn't go but still chose to role play with the older ones. They were hilarious when they dressed as orphans after seeing "Lemony Snickets". My favorite was the outfits they came up with after seeing "The Chronicles of Narnia". I was just wondering if anyone else's kids do this same thing.

ours like nature shows/cartoons and crawl around growling and clawing at each other like the lions they've watched on tv. It's ok until the guests start getting clawed as well. Just wait until you visit. wear shinguards and ear plugs.

My girls will role play Dora the explora. They know every song and make up their own verison. With movies, They loved role playing Narnia. But with two older girls in the house the biggest role playing I get is acting like Hannah Montana or making fun of all of Tobin's movies. It's a playhouse over here as well. I dont know about you but when I was little, 10 or 11. I knew every song in the " Grease" Movie and mY sister and I would put on a show singing those songs. It was wild.

Mine won't sit through movies--much like their mom! Sounds like they use their imagination and that is what's important.
