Laughter is the Best Medicine

I was laughing so hard at Skip earlier today when he was doing an impression of one of Jamie Foxx's characters from Living Color. It is so great how we have the same sense of humor even though we are complete opposites. The hospital can be pretty boring, but we are going to have so many funny memories from his surgery. I read Proverbs 17:22 earlier that says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine." That is so true. A lot of silly things happen when you are secluded in a room with a man on narcotics, dressed in a gown, and totally helpless.

Been thinking about you. I have nothing profound to say, just wanted to let you know. Get Skip well and get home soon.

Was it the female character with buck-teeth and oversized bubble rump just springing out there?

You know it. I think her name is Wanda. It is hilarious when he does it.

Love your blog. You don't know me but I go to BAF. Me and my husband have been going there for the past year and a half. We love it. We posted a comment for skip about his surgery and hope the recovery goes well. I am a nurse anyway, I liked reading your blog. My blog is janicelyn.blogspot.com

If you can both have a sense of humor right now, then obviously he's doing better. I love your attitude. Hospitals and surgery are NOT fun. The remark about a man in a gown on narcotics cracked me up.

In a hospital is not the most fun way to spend your time, but I am glad you guys are having some fun anyway. Keep us posted!
