My Future Aggie

Is this a cutie or what? It's Sports Day at school and Annie honored her mom by wearing her brother's A&M cap. I couldn't get her to go as far as putting on the matching jersey, but I will take what I can get from my princess. Can you tell that pink is her favorite color? I wish that I could freeze this age forever(except for the whining part of course).

I will be leaving tomorrow to go see my sister and nephew in LA for 5 days, so Skip is in charge of the kids. I have never gone anywhere for that long alone. I am so excited, but very anxious about finding my gate, switching planes, and all that is involved with flying. I have been reciting Philippians 4:6, and I know that God will be with me and watching over my family. I am also heading over to My Quiet Corner for some encouragement. However, would you please pray for us? I will hopefully have pictures to share when I return. Isn't Skip an awesome hubby to encourage me to do this? I think he is more excited for me than I am. Have a blessed week and I will be checking in when I can.

Annie is such a cute little pink princess. Pink is my daughter Emily's favorite color as well.

Important: Travel hint~ go to tsa.gov for info on what to take and not take on a plane with you. The're being VERY strict!

Also, be sure that your suitcase does not exceed your airline's weight limits...they're being strictly enforced. I wound up bringing things home with me and my weight was way over, which led to last-minute stress for me!

Have a great time with your sister and nephew. I really enjoyed my 5-days with my sister (and nephew as well...but he's only 1!). Have fun!

You're in my prayers for safety and protection.

Blessings!

Wow... I'm so glad you are able to find encouragment at "My Quiet Corner". That in itself encourages me!!

Julie's right... head to that website and get all the latest regulations and rules. That will definately help to decrease your stress level!

I will be praying! Praying for safety and for peace. Do not let your anxiety get in the way of your adventure and enjoyment! I know, I know... easier said than done.

I will be eagerly awaiting your return and the photos and stories that will bring!

You are going to have a blast. Use this time to really enjoy yourself and find some newfound freedom. SKip will do great , yes he is wonderful in encourging you to take this trip --he knows you fully need it and totally desevre it.
Yes, check with the airlines as to what to take. I don't bring a carry on bag anymore , I used to but now I have check it all in. I took shampoo, hairspray and all and just checked it all in. You are going to do great. Savor the time with your sister.
