Enchanted is Enchanting!

After two Thanksgiving dinners, a nap, watching the Cowboys dominate, and eating way too much pecan pie, my sister treated myself and the kiddos to the movie Enchanted. It was precious! I loved the actors they chose for the roles. They were perfect! If you have very small children, it does have a somewhat scary part near the end with a wicked stepmother, but what fairytale movie doesn't. I hope you put this on your list of holiday movies to see. Oh, and guess what? There is only 32 more shopping days until Christmas.

*Oh my goodness, I just finished Home to Holly Springs this morning while all the house was sound asleep. Sitting with a delicious cup of coffee, I read the last few chapters. I laughed out loud several times, and as I read the last page, I teared up with a huge smile. If you are a Mitford Series fan, you will know exactly what I'm talking about.

You are the second person to mention that movie, but I just haven't watched it yet, perhaps I will now! :O)

Oh, and how do you get your blog to loo like this? I tried to design mine (well, my husband did), but I can't get the layout to work right.

The kids and I just saw this movie, and looooved it!! I'm usually not one for 'kids movies' but will see this one again. I'm still laughing from parts of it! Did you do any BF sales today? Laura & I hit Kohl's at 2:00 am- got awesome deals!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Susie! The movie sounds like one my granddaughters would enjoy.
I'm about three quarters of the way through Home to Holly Springs and already wishing there was another one to read!! I just love those books. I may just sit and reread it - I've read kind of quickly wanting to see how it all comes out. I'm sure I missed some details!
Have a blessed weekend!

Never heard of the author, but the way you've described the atmosphere of your Friday - it sounds like a perfectly wonderful week-end. Hope it continued that way and you'll be recharged by the holiday.

I really want to see Enchanted. I thought that it would be either really good or really bad. I'm glad to know that you liked it! Now all I need is a way to talk my husband into seeing it with me!

My Emily really wants to see "Enchanted" so I'm glad to hear that you approve.

I have asked for Jan Karon's latest book for Christmas...she is my FAVORITE author! I can't wait to read it!

Ooooh! Now I can't wait until Christmas- I must get that book now:-)

(And thanks for the movie recommendation; sounds like a good one for the girls next weekend when Daddy goes away.)

Glad to hear your Thanksgiving was good! Ours was, too.

Are you ready for Christmas?

I've heard so much about this movie, I really hope I get to see it this holiday season.

Home to Holly Springs in on my christmas wish list. I'm a huge Jan Karon and Mitford fan. I can't wait to read this new book and I was thrilled to discover she's beginning a whole new series. Finishing the last Mitford book was very sad. So hooray for a new Father Tim series!

Susie,
After I read your comment I wondered if you have written anything about Seth. I'd love to hear about him.
